The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable recent graduates or undergraduates pursing a Bachelors or Masters (preferred) degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset
- Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
- Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
- Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master Degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation/Control/Robotics Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Digital & Interaction Design, Management Engineering or in courses related to Software Engineering, Data science (Machine Learning and Deep Learning), IoT. For Business Support Functions opportunities you need to be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master Degree in STEM, Arts or Business subjects.
- Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
- Be in your final year of degree studies
- Be fluent in oral and written English
- Have the legal right to work without restrictions in the country you have applied
Engineering & Technology
Internships in Engineering & Technology are designed to enable you to gain experience within the Engineering & Technology landscape in order to stretch your learning and skillset. You may be assigned to a technical project in a variety of disciplines, with main focus on Industrial Design.
Digital Technology
There are a range of different internship Computer science, Digital & Interaction Design, Mathematical Engineering, Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering, Management Engineering or in courses related to Software Engineering, Data Science (Machine Learning and Deep Learning), IoT, Cyber Security, Block-Chain etc..
Business Support Services
There are a range of different internship assignments available in functions that support the business, focused in particular on Marketing & Communications and Commercial Operations / Sales.
Whatever the project you are assigned, you will get exposure to the engineering and manufacturing industry, which will give you a foundation to develop skills that can be used in your future career.
