Senior Python Developer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Python Engineer to join our fast-growing Fintech startup. In this role, you will work on a wide range of backend technologies and systems to help us develop innovative and secure financial products. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Your tasks will include:

• Developing, maintaining and improving our backend systems
  
• Designing, building and implementing high-performance, reliable, secure and scalable applications
  
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure the successful integration of backend systems and services
  
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues
  
• Developing and executing unit tests
  
• Working on new projects and initiatives
  
• Upholding high code quality standards
  

Our stack: Python, AWS (Lambda, AppSync, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3), Rest API/GraphQL, Kafka

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development
  
• Strong proficiency in Python or other modern programming language
  
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies 
  
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  
• Product oriented
  

Nice to have requirements/skills:

• Experience with IaC frameworks such as CDK
  
• Familiarity with machine learning and MLOps
  
• Experience with GraphQL and/or Kafka
