experienced person (f/m/d) to strengthen the team with their expertise.

Who – experience and mind-set
We are looking for another teammate with a deep understanding of DevOps and SRE
technologies, methodologies and tooling.
You should be well versed in deployment, integration, automation and orchestration.
You should approach operational problems with an engineering mindset, and be
comfortable making reliability and performance improvements in software as well as
infrastructure.
With a deep and interesting tech stack and is solving hard problems. As we scale
we need to do this more efficiently, both from an infrastructure and developer
perspective.

How – working here
People at ****** have a lot of autonomy at work. We offer a largely flexible
environment. At our working hubs in Berlin (DE), Vilnius (LT) and Chamonix (FR) you'll
be able to meet up with your teammates to work on a project together or just spend some
time in an office environment.
We are mostly remote by nature, and hence value sync time strongly. We also value our
hubs and trying to keep a balance. Still, you needn't worry about your calendar being full
of regular meetings. You work with bleeding edge technology, use and run them in
development and production. You are enabled to actively create and contribute to
processes and ways of working.
This also requires you to be able to work independently. You need problem solving and
debugging skills, and a good dose of pragmatism.
What – responsibilities
Work as part of a team to develop and maintain infrastructure as code.
Plan, improve, oversee and monitor our client's different environments.
Optimise processes for efficiency and simplicity.
Debug service failures.
Champion site reliability engineering, leading by example.
What – qualification and experience
Required - your application will not be considered without these
3+ years experience in the field.
Experience with Containers, Cloud and Orchestration. We use mainly Kubernetes.
(EKS on AWS) and open source tooling around it.
Experience with automation and scripting in a language like Bash, Python, Ruby or Go.
We communicate a lot with our colleagues around the world hence English language skills are a must.
Desired - your application is strong if you fulfill some of these criteria
Bachelor’s or higher in computer science or related (STEM) subject.
Expertise in Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, SRE processes and/or large scale
cloud architecture.
Our stack is primarily Golang, Ruby and Typescript, so software development experience in one or more of those languages is a big plus.
Experience automating CI/CD and infrastructure, with tools like Buildkite, CircleCI, Github Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Kustomize, Skaffold, Helm, Crossplane or Terraform.
Experience optimizing and improving relational and non-relational database workloads. (i.e.: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, GraphQL or others)
A passion for improving systems, and for working together towards a common cause.
