You’ll be responsible for facilitating, capturing, validating, documenting and obtaining sign off, on business requirements, for critical changes raised across the Insurance division.

In the Insurance team you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people, roles and teams which will involve interaction with our senior management leaders. This is truly an excellent opportunity to gain an extensive knowledge of Saga and the Insurance Industry. In this role you will be exposed to different business areas and a chance to further progress your career in change management.

  • Conduct business process engineering with efficiency and lean disciplines for approved change.
  • Report and track progress across your assigned projects, identifying and escalating any blockers hindering progress where necessary.
  • Identify system and operational process gaps, pro-actively raising these to the relevant department and support in the creation of their change requests.
  • Ensure swift progress across multiple concurrent projects though organisation and time management skills, whilst being able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workloads.
  • Support Project Managers and Scrum Teams within Change where additional analysis is required
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations around scope and delivery.
  • Liaise with other departments, representing the Change Management Team.
  • Ensure actions, risks, issues, and decisions are logged against appropriate change items in accordance with our best practice requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have previously worked as a Business Analyst ideally in a large, regulated business such as insurance or banking. You will have a strong understanding of operational business requirements and could easily adapt your skill set to our matrix teams across Saga.

You can also demonstrate the following skills and experiences;
