Trainer - Lead Instructor

Job Description 

We are looking for energetic outgoing people who are interested training instructors how to better the lives of young children with the instruction of a lifelong skill. People with good communications skills who are enthusiastic, driven, and dedicated to children should apply. 
  

Overview 

AquaKids Lead Instructors will train staff how to instruct swimming lessons in a fun non-stressful environment. Other responsibilities include evaluating lesson quality, ensuring safety, talking to parents and families about student progress, attending monthly meetings with Training Manager, run training portion of their locations monthly staff meetings, and ensuring the best experience for students, parents, and staff.

Requirements: 

• Must be 16 years of age or older 

• Ability to communicate Weekly/Monthly with the Training Manager

• Minimum 4 months of Instruction experience 

• Experience in ParentTot(ages 2months - 3 years) and Advanced(Swim Team Ready)

• Must be able to work Mon - Thur 3:00 - 8:00 pm weekdays, and 9:00 - 3:00 pm Sat or Sun

• Must be able to work at least 3-4 shifts per week
  Ability to complete a 300-yard swim, and 2 minutes of treading water 

• Lifeguard & CPR certification preferred, but not required (will certify right candidate) 

• Must pass drug test and background screen.
