Front-end Developer

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of this role is to work with a team of product specialists on the delivery and enhancement of browser-based digital banking products such as websites, customer sales/engagement tools and forms solutions. This involves providing technical advice regarding the development of these front-end interfaces as well as performing front-end coding activities on those interfaces.

You will also be involved in providing technical input and creating best practices for the operation, enhancement and front-end coding of these digital interfaces; and will advise the team on the latest relevant trends, technologies, frameworks and methodologies with the goal of enhancing front-end interface effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in related field

Experience:

• 6-8 years front-end interface coding experience including experience in HTML5, CSS3, and bootstrap and using this to deliver responsive websites is essential
• Experience with AngularJS, JQuery and Razor (ASP.NET mark-up syntax) is essential
• Experience with SASS, AJAX, Bootstrap and UnderscoreJS (or similar) is highly desirable
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps and PowerShell for Azure is highly desirable
• Exposure to building plug-ins using REST based APIs and services is highly desirable
• Experience with JavaScript tooling such as Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, NPM would be desirable
• Experience with test-driven development/unit testing would be desirable
• Exposure to Umbraco and ASP.NET would be desirable
