Job description

The Technology Lead function translates market and customer requirements into technical product requirements in alignment with the overall roadmap. Together with the product management team, the incumbent defines concrete products and solutions to be developed. With a strong technical background, the function aligns very closely with the business owners to drive innovation and technology architecture to resolve open business problems. Working closely primarily with Business Development and Product Management, for a smooth product transfer into the sales channel is ensured.

As the Technology Lead for Remote Care China, the encumbant is responsible for local ODx solutions, to support and localize the company strategy through product development and sustaining activities.

Requirements / 要求

Education / 教育背景

Min. Bachelor’s degree, preferably Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline.

Experience /经验

5+ years experience in product development, digital solutions architecture or clinical IT knowledge in the healthcare industry with a focus on business-driven digital solutions. Experience in a MNC environment, collaborating with international teams.

Expertise in AI, DL and data engineering.  Able to advise different stakeholders including senior executives on technical aspects of analytics engagement.

Deep understanding of Clinical informatics e.g. (HIS/CDSS/PACS/EMR, DICOM);

Strong business sense and solution architect experience;

Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing in English and Chinese;

Well-developed communication skills, high flexibility, perservance and entrepreneurial attitude;

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.  Persuasive communication skills both externally as well as in complex team structures;

Demonstrated aptitude for strategic thinking and proven record of delivering performance in fluid situations;

First functional leadership experience.

Main Tasks / 主要任务

Strategic and operational support

  • Own technology roadmap and transformation agenda to align with the business strategy, which includes innovating and architecting technology enablers to resolve challenging business problems;
  • Drive product innovation and, after launch, product sustaining for Product Category;
  • Define technology requirements, offering, own development processes;
  • Sustaining and product life cycle;
  • Shape the problems as well as solutions as a technological thought partner to the business owner; helping business and external partners to translate big ideas into reality with delivered insights;
  • Innovate new tools and techniques and applying your understanding of insights in real business settings.

Market and competitor analysis

  • Translate relevant technical developments and trends in the market as a basis for adjusting the product concept by spending time with customers, evaluating literature, visiting tradeshows and conferences.
  • Analyze technical product information about customer demand, competition activities and alternative technologies through primary and secondary research.

Relationship management

  • Maintain close contact with local key technology partners for con-joint development and input into development activities.

Coordination with other areas

  • Close alignment with Business Sector ODx to ensure the optimal implementation of the global strategy into a local adaptation.

Leadership and people management

  • Ensure tech operation excellence, design best-in-class DevOps infrastructure, process and tools for in-time software delivery and fast response to production issues. Work closely with business owners, external partners, internal s/w dev team in an agile way to iteratively build solutions to deliver value in time.
  • Cooperate with data scientists, s/w developers to incorporate business requirements and impactful analysis into our data products.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership in both internal and partner’s dev team. Mentor s/w dev team members provide constructive feedbacks on design and code quality and build an inclusive culture with high performing teams.
