Job Description

KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information governance and data recovery services, is currently seeking a DevOps Architect.

As a DevOps Architect, you will work closely with the Director of Engineering to set the direction for automation of both infrastructure and software deployments. In addition, you will be responsible for researching new technologies and best practices, developing standards, and performing technical review with team members to ensure that they understand and are following the applicable standards. **

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Engineering, Software Architecture team, and IT Architecture team to set the direction for automation of both infrastructure and software deployments
  • Keep up with the latest technologies and best practices and use that knowledge to develop written standards
  • Lead technical and design discussions with peers to plan out solutions
  • Participate in technical reviews
  • Mentor team members on technical topics
  • Perform and assist with analysis of application performance and establishing models for throughput

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a related field, including:
    • Systems Administration
    • Cloud Engineer
    • DevOps Engineer
  • Extensive experience working with automation or scripting technologies, such as Ansible, Terraform, python, Chef, Puppet, etc
  • Experience with Azure cloud environment
  • Experience designing multi-faceted infrastructure solutions
  • Experience leading the implementation of a multidisciplinary solution rollout
  • Experience working with container technologies
  • Experience with Linux distributions, preferably Ubuntu
  • Experience with server hardware and virtualization technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenStack
  • Experience with Fortinet networking hardware
