What You'll Do**

As a Back-end Software Engineer specializing in Web Marketing at TRACTIAN, you will be instrumental in shaping the backend systems that drive our online presence. Your role will involve developing backend logic, APIs, and database structures that support engaging websites, landing pages, and interactive content. Collaborating with frontend and marketing teams, you will contribute to showcasing TRACTIAN's value proposition to a global audience, driving engagement and awareness of our predictive maintenance software and CMMS offerings. **

Responsibilities**

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement requirements for web marketing initiatives.

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient back-end systems for supporting web marketing campaigns, analytics, and data processing.

Design, develop, and manage APIs and integrations to facilitate seamless data exchange between various marketing tools and platforms.

Implement data tracking and analytics solutions to gather insights into user behavior, campaign performance, and website engagement.

Work closely with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between the user interface and back-end systems.

Ensure the security and integrity of user data through the implementation of authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, considering database performance and server response times.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in back-end systems, collaborating with the team to identify and implement solutions.

Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas to enhance web marketing strategies.

Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality, readability, and adherence to coding standards.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Assist in planning and executing A/B tests and optimization experiments to improve user experience and conversion rates.

Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes for internal knowledge sharing. **

Requirements**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;

3+ years of proven experience as a back-end developer with a focus on web applications and marketing projects.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, Ruby, Node.js, etc.

Strong understanding of web application architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including database design and optimization.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) for deploying and scaling applications.

Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Solid grasp of web security principles and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and resolving technical challenges.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. **

Bonus Points**

Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes is a plus.

Strong awareness of security practices in application development and data handling.

Hands-on experience with data tracking and analytics tools: Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, etc.
