We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SailPoint Engineer / Developer with 3+ years of direct SailPoint Identity IQ experience and 5+ years of IAM (Identity and Access Management) experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal to help solution, support, and deliver on strategic application onboarding and system integration efforts within our Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment. We are a growing and dynamic group focused on delivering innovative technology product solutions to meet our complex security goals.

The SailPoint Engineer/Developer will partner with program stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and maintain SailPoint Identity IQ solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support prioritized application onboarding efforts as well as integrate SailPoint Identity IQ with various software platforms supporting critical functions such as human resource management, business operations, customer service management and customer relationship management. This role depends a deep understanding of SailPoint Identity IQ, IAM best practices and the ability to work on complex IAM projects. Your stakeholders will include architects, analysts and product owners. **

Key Responsibilities:**

  • SailPoint Identity IQ Onboarding: Lead and participate in the onboarding of SailPoint Identity IQ applications, including defining access policies, role-based access controls (RBAC) and providing / supporting identity lifecycle management strategies.
  • Custom Development: Develop custom solutions and connectors to extend the functionality of SailPoint Identity IQ to meet customer requirements.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to integrate SailPoint Identity IQ into various software applications to support efficient IAM operations and compliance with security standards.
  • IAM and SailPoint Compliance Standards: Possess in-depth knowledge of IAM and SailPoint compliance standards and best practices. Ensure our organization's IAM and SailPoint solutions align with industry-leading security frameworks.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support, diagnose, and resolve issues. Perform system maintenance activities as needed to ensure optimal SailPoint Identity IQ performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: recommend innovative solutions to address business needs and security challenges. Continuously explore new technologies and best practices to enhance IAM and SailPoint Identity IQ capabilities.
  • IAM Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of IAM strategies with respect to SailPoint, including designing and implementing IAM roadmap and policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configuration rules and best practices.
  • Training and Mentoring: Be willing to train and mentor junior team members, when applicable, to share your expertise and strengthen skillsets.
  • Communication Skills: Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Data Science, or a related field/experience
  • Have 3+ years of industry experience supporting SailPoint Identity IQ 8.X
  • Have 5+ years of industry experience developing, customizing, and troubleshooting SailPoint Identity IQ workflows, rules and custom connectors using Bean Shell and JAVA.
  • Implementation experience with one or more of the following connectors: IIQ/SAP; IIQ/CyberArk, IIQ/Service Now, IIQ/Azure including SailPoint CAM integrations
  • Experience in git branch strategy/management, branch/merge policies, release management, code review, parallel development efforts, Gitflow
  • Design experience with customer SailPoint Identity IQ connectors
  • Experience with common integration protocols such as HTTP, SSL, SSH, TCP/IP, SSO, SAML, OAuth, LDAP, REST, SQL, SOAP
  • Experience with common platforms: Linux, Windows, JVM, Tomcat
  • Possess an Agile mindset and have experience working in JIRA
  • Strong background in SailPoint Identity IQ application onboarding and configuration
  • Perform configuration, patching and deployment of SailPoint Identity IQ
  • Thorough understanding of IAM standards and regulations
  • Support the SailPoint Architect during requirement and design phases
  • Support data mapping/modeling of entitlement and roles data
  • Drive improvements in certifications campaigns, entitlements descriptions and certification reporting
  • Have a firm understanding of industry trends and technologies with respect to Identity and Access Management

Preferred Technical Environment Skillset:

  • SailPoint Identity IQ certification
  • Security / Audit certifications such as CISSP, CIAM, Comp TIA Security++etc.
  • MS Azure, Active Directory, Red Hat Linux, MS SQL Server
  • Prior experience working in the Utility/Energy industry or an organization governed by Federal regulations
