Job description

Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. We are recruiting to fill a position to lead business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets.

Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Full-Time (W2) FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) Program Manager to work hybrid or remote in Northern Virginia.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Role: FOIA Program Manager, Full-Time, W2, remote or hybrid

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Northern Virginia)

Fulltime, W2

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience overseeing a FOIA program and managing a contractor team responsible for reducing the Government's backlog of cases
  • PMP Certification or Juris Degree is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the performance of the contract and meet all contract deliverables.
  • Work as Corporate program manager overseeing one or multiple contracts depends on the size of the contract.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the contract.
  • Responsible to hold team accountable for meeting project deadlines and goals.
  • Demonstrates managerial experience to provide feedback and corrections to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Ability to conduct independent research, review and analyze complex records according to policies, regulations and case law.
  • Conduct quality control review of analysts' work product".
  • Evaluate FOIA-related staff levels to address fluctuations in the number of FOIA professionals and the complexity and volume of work.
  • Make strategic and intelligent case assignments to FOIA Specialists based on trends and other similarities to build resident experts who are poised to process requests faster.
  • Assess tools and resources for FOIA processing and identify new technologies that will reduce search and processing times to increase efficiencies.
  • Must have experience in overseeing a FOIA program and managing a contractor team responsible for reducing the backlog of cases.
  • Work as SME to provide technical solutions and support proposal team as required.
