The Role

Veeva Systems is looking for driven, self-motivated Senior Consultants with exposure to advising and implementing software solutions to help customers optimize their quality data and document management operations in the cloud.
As a Senior Consultant in our Quality Post-Implementation Services team, you will be responsible for :
Understanding customers’ challenges, business model, and compliance needs.
Translating requirements into solution design and planning the delivery of innovative customer releases adjusted to product updates.
Change the culture of traditional software releases and maintenance by driving the release management process.
Leading customers’ post-implementation maintenance and improvement streams working across QA, IT, and Business teams.
Understanding of industry best practices and being able to lead the customers to adopt them.
Mentoring other team members.
As a Senior Consultant, you will actively collaborate across Veeva, contributing ideas, enhancing our delivery model, and working closely with our product management team to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
This is a full-time role with Veeva. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Europe. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position.

What You'll Do
    • Implement new features within the Veeva Vault Quality suite at Life Sciences companies ranging from the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies to emerging biotech
    • Guide customers on how to enhance their quality and compliance culture through the use of Veeva’s Quality suite to drive risk analysis, quality metrics, continuous improvement, and audit/inspection readiness
    • Work closely with customer business and IT staff to understand their requirements. Think critically and help them achieve their business vision.
    • Act as customer liaison managing communication between implementation and maintenance teams, customer stakeholders, and internal Veeva Product teams
    • Guide customers in adopting Vault and industry best practices as part of post-implementation programs focused on the holistic success of the customer
    • Drive change management methodology at our customers switching from on-premise to SaaS solutions
    • Assist with Quality processes including SOPs, Quality Events, CAPAs, Deviations, Change Control, Audits, and Training
    • Mentor team members and junior consultants.
Requirements
    • 8+ years experience in implementing, supporting, or administering core business and IT operations-related technology solution(s),
    • In-depth knowledge in quality and compliance, quality management systems, document control, and global change management
    • Proven track record leading implementation and/or maintenance tracks as a consultant, business analyst, or IT lead and/or business sponsor.
    • Influential experience in leading teams through hard decisions and negotiating compromises
    • Experience in working in a Consulting and/or Customer facing role, and managing customer expectations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, comprehending and translating business requirements, and creating corresponding solutions designs
    • University degree or equivalent relevant experience
Nice to Have
    • Understanding of global quality requirements, compliance considerations, and processes for Quality process and content management, life sciences compliance, and/or computer systems validation
    • Direct experience with systems such as Veeva Vault, EtQ, TrackWise, OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum, FirstDoc/FirstPoint, NextDocs, and other quality information management or content management systems
    • Knowledge of Software Validation processes and requirements
    • Project management experience
    • Execution experience with Agile methodology and/or ACP Certification
    • Experience in service delivery management and/or systems implementation
    • Proficiency in additional European language(s)
