Job description

Synterex, Inc. is a consortium of highly experienced clinical development professionals specializing in medical writing, submission publishing, and clinical science and operations support. Synterex offers remote or on-site services, with a focus on providing clear, concise, accurate, and fully compliant documentation, from early drug development through post-approval.

Synterex is seeking a highly-motivated Salesperson to join our team and help us expand our client base in the biotech industry. As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge AI products, designed specifically for biotech applications, to clients ranging from startups to established pharmaceutical companies. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in IT sales, with a focus on artificial intelligence solutions, and a strong understanding of the biotech industry.


Length of assignment: Full-time


Location: Fully remote, must be able to attend occasional client meetings on site as needed


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities in the biotech industry by leveraging existing relationships, conducting market research, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our AI product offerings, their applications in the biotechnology sector, and their competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM database with accurate customer information and sales activity records.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, Marketing, Biotechnology, or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales, with a focus on artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Proven experience in selling to the biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies, and to achieve sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the biotech industry, including key players, market trends, and regulatory environments.
  • Experience selling AI solutions designed specifically for biotech applications.
  • Established network of contacts within the biotech industry.
