We are looking for a long-term employee or contractor who will support ongoing development efforts in the following project:

Development of Enterprise Project Management Solutions

Join Astec’s Project Management Consulting practice that helps enterprises improve efficiency by customizing next-generation project management tools.

What You’ll Do

As a Full-Stack Software Developer On The Project Management Consulting Team At Astec You Will Help Develop Project Management Applications That Support Our Client, a Leading Enterprise From Germany, In Their Daily Operations

  • Development of software solutions based on next-gen project management tools using Java and Angular.js/Angular
  • Software development according to client requirements, based on user stories, using agile project management methodologies
  • Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
  • Design, implement and execute development and integration tests

Skills You Have

  • Experience with Java software development
  • Experience with frontend development (preferably Angular.js/Angular)
  • Knowledge about software architecture
  • Ability to confidently communicate with peers
  • Good knowledge of English language (level B2 or better)

Requirements

  • At least two years of commercial software development experience
  • Completed higher education in computer science

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of project management best practices
  • Knowledge of web application security
  • Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
  • Knowledge of German language (level B2 or better)
