ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Vytelle Intern, you will experience first-hand how our global team of industry experts are working to bring a new certainty to performance, health and genetic progress.
At Vytelle, the Bovine Reproductive Specialist (DVM) is an integral part of our global team to help bring certainty to genetic progress in livestock. The DVM will perform ovum pickup procedures, embryo transfers, and work alongside team members to perform all duties associated with embryo production, data entry, and communication while adhering to Vytelle standard operating procedures.
ADVANCE SKILLS BY:
- Working side-by-side with Vytelle’s certified large-animal vets and embryologists.
- Experiencing and participating in ovum pickup events and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) processes. No FSH required.
- Gaining specialized industry knowledge, training and experience that will directly apply to future practices.
- Customizing an internship experience that brings you closer to your professional goals and accommodates your academic schedule.
- Establishing connections and networking with talented industry professionals across the company.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) student enrolled at accredited U.S. veterinary school.
- Industry knowledge and a strong passion for IVF and/or eagerness to learn and commit
- Previous laboratory experience in an academic and/or professional setting
- Knowledge of oocyte, sperm and embryo biology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to details and technicalities
- Excellent organizational and technical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
- Travel as appropriate
