Job description

Supermom, a fast-growing AI data powerhouse, has a mission to enable parents and families to live better and smarter in Southeast Asia. Boasting one of the largest family communities in Singapore and expanding fast in Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as other SEA countries, we are now looking for a Data Management and Governance Lead to drive improved quality and management of our customer data, establish internal SOPs, and manage the data processing team. This is a regional role covering SG, MY, VN, TH, ID and PH.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for improving customer data quality and accuracy, including defining data quality standards and establishing data collection SOPs across the region.
  • Manage data processing team and vendors to ensure accurate and timely completion of data entry, data extraction and/or data cleaning, to submit to clients as well as update internal reports. This includes sourcing new in-market freelancers and vendors (such as data entry, data purchase, telesales, etc) to support data processing/validation needs for campaigns/projects.
  • Ensure cleaned data is regularly uploaded back into our datamart and CRM platform, and tagged accurately.
  • Develop processes, including identifying tools and vendors we can work with, to continually enrich our datapoints as well as validate existing data collected in the various markets.
  • Perform data analysis for regular internal reporting to provide insights on the sources and quality of data being generated, to support data-driven decision making for marketing and data collection activities.
  • Establish and champion data privacy protocols internally, and be familiar with data privacy regulations in the markets we operate in.
  • Project manage data transfer API builds with various clients, ensuring the APIs built by their tech teams meet our needs, lead the testing/UAT, and troubleshoot where needed.
  • Support the migration of our CDP, working closely with the Marketing, CRM, and Tech teams to ensure all generated data is migrated with no loss, unified and tagged accurately.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years’ experience in similar or related roles
  • Prior experience drafting and implementing data management standards/SOPs
  • Familiarity with tools and methods available to validate/enrich datapoints
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Meticulous
  • Analytical and able to draw out data trends and correlations 
  • Able to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup is a plus
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
