Job description

CloudHire is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud AWS Engineer to join our team in the Information Technology and Services industry. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Responsibilities

Design and develop highly scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and understand business requirements
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate infrastructure setup and deployment processes
Perform system monitoring, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
Ensure security best practices are implemented and followed in all cloud-based solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and evaluate their applicability to our platform

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions
In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
Strong understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
