Job Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the implementation of enhancements to the Circana MDP ETL automation framework for daily / weekly automated Liquid Data operations processes (US lead for Operations ETL team)
  • Analyze business requirements/functionality, conduct effort estimation, manage coding efforts & full lifecycle testing, supervise Production deployments, and manage post-production support.
  • Operate within the Operations Technology Mgmt team to act as a bridge of technical expertise within Operations to collaborate daily with the Technology department for seamless integration of both new solutions/components as well as improvements to existing implementations.
  • Coordinate efforts across various teams in both Circana Operations and Technology to understand the "big picture" of enhancement/new feature request and how they impact other systems. Similarly for changes to existing systems / source data, understand which systems are impacted and conduct thorough analysis/give teams notice before executing changes.
  • Provide hands-on architecture & design decisions for technical solutions in the team scope (as primary architect/designer)
  • Demonstrate self-sufficiency for managing and delivering your team's work to meet business deadlines.
  • Responsible for ensuring flawless and timely delivery of all ETL/automation enhancements, and constantly seeking to find improvements in data quality, automation/functionality improvements, etc.
  • Manage both onshore and offshore (India) resources to be highly efficient & effective across both locations.
  • Operate and support all three global Data Centers hosting the Circana MDP Automation framework (US, EMEA, and Australia).

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing a small team of developers to develop/test/deploy code on a recurring deployment schedule.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Agile methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience executing analysis/design/integration testing/etc. across multiple tiers of an application to guarantee end-to-end functionality of a solution.
  • Require minimum 3 years of experience building/maintaining solutions on industry standard database platforms; PostgreSQL, Monet DB & Hadoop experience a definite bonus.
  • Hands-on experience with code performance issues and tuning, along with demonstrated knowledge of database / SQL methods of improving app performance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental data modeling and database design concepts for new and enhancement efforts.
  • Require 3 years minimum experience building scripts using Linux and/or Python.
  • Require at least 2 years of experience with web services; able to articulate and explain how a RESTful web service works and how to utilize it.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with job scheduling tools; BMC Control-M and/or Apache Airflow preferred.
  • Firsthand knowledge of Circana's Liquid Data platform / prior Circana business experience a definite bonus.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $64k to $110k.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
