At Twinkl Scotland, we pride ourselves on creating quality content for all ages and stages of Scottish education. From ELC, through Primary and now into Secondary, we aim to provide content that engages learners and supports Scottish educators in getting it right for every child. We are always looking for opportunities to further support our users and respond to current educational initiatives and, as such, we are now delighted to be focusing on developing resources to support play-based learning. Learning through play has always been an important part of early learning and childhood but we want to extend the opportunities and benefits of play-based learning throughout primary education, with a focus on delivering content that supports educators in delivering play experiences for older learners. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we look to develop a play-based learning product that can be used by educators across all ages and stages of education.

This role does not require you to work from the Twinkl office and meetings can be conducted via GoogleMeet/Hangouts when required. This is a remote, flexible position. Working hours can be agreed between you and your line manager to fit around your current commitments but you should have availability for team meetings during office hours.

Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your day:

Ideate, develop and create innovative play-based learning resources that support adult understanding and provide inspiration for play experiences for children of all ages.

Work and communicate with other team members in an agile working team to achieve sprint goals.

To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Produce original content that is accurate, engaging and research-driven, according to a monthly target
  • Work as part of a team to identify content opportunities to further grow the product

In this role, you will learn:

  • The production process required for creating new and innovative resources
