Job Requirements
· Proficiency in all phases of PeopleSoft development including technical analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, validation and post implementation support.
· Proactively contributes to technical discussions to help in decision making
· Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand and document business requirements
· Provide production support for all PeopleSoft applications HR and FIN from the server side
o PS clusters (Web front-ends, Application servers, Process Scheduler)
· Support a multi-tiered environment (DEV, STG, PRD, BLD, etc)
· Own and support the application migration process in a multi-tiered environment
· Experienced file share architecture, implementation, maintenance and support for the company’s Operation Storage repository.
· Experienced creating and executing scripts using PowerShell and similar scripting tools
· SharePoint server administration, maintenance and support
· UC4 workloads/job plan support. Job processing architecture and maintenance.
· Support for enterprise ETL processes
· Provide support for interfaces which use the PS data. Typically extracts or files/process sent to other GC systems or 3rd party vendors.
· Ability to troubleshoot problems and improve processes in an effort to increase the level and quality of customer service.
· Identify streamlining possibilities
· Proactively work towards process improvement
Job Qualifications
· Must have at least 8 years of experience as a Windows server administrator.
· Excellent technical skills on Windows server and server based applications.
· Knowledge and experience in designing and developing interfaces using PeopleSoft integration technologies
· Strong analytical and testing skills needed and must have the ability to lead testing efforts
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Willingness to learn new technologies
· Experience with SharePoint 2010, 2013 administration and light development
· Experience upgrading applications and servers
· Prior experience developing with .NET or VB is a plus but not required
· Must be willing to work after hours and weekends if needed (will have VPN access to work from home after hours when needed)
· Experience with PeopleSoft Workflow and notification processes is a plus
· Experience upgrading from PeopleSoft 8.x to 9.2 is a huge plus
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Must have a basic understanding of Accounting practices, HR and Payroll processes
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field is preferred.
