You already know how to automate. Frameworks from scratch, APIs, UIs and regression testing too. The company has nailed manual testing but the knowledge to take the function to the next level is lacking. They need you, and all your automation experience to come in and make automation happen.
You have a solid understanding of all thighs automation, and can code with a huge preference for Java as this is the codebase. CI/CD and code management is gitlab and the cloud is Google. In terms of testing they have Junit with Mockito for the backend, Cypress for frontend and are looking to adopt and implement Test Driven Development across the development teams.
