Senior Communications Specialist - Join a Dynamic Team at ABS Kids!

ABS Kids is seeking an experienced Senior Communication Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing strategic internal and external communication initiatives. Your expertise in conveying compelling messages with creativity and precision will be essential in engaging stakeholders and supporting public engagement efforts.

Our Administrative Support team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Every team member at ABS Kids is passionate about providing best in class support to our direct care providers, who in turn deliver the highest quality ABA therapy to our patients.

What Would You Do:

  • Develop and implement effective dissemination strategies for outreach materials, project messaging, and client activities using various communication channels such as print, periodicals, radio, social media, and visual media.
  • Review and refine records and reports related to public involvement meetings, forums, and public hearings, while tracking social engagement and digital strategies as required.
  • Create speeches, design presentation materials, prepare remarks, and compose correspondence for mailings, meetings, workshops, and public events.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the company's brand strategy.
  • Cultivate relationships with organizational leaders, administrative staff, clinical staff, and departments to understand and address the company's current needs.
  • Develop strategic communication plans to promote and advance company initiatives, goals, and priorities.
  • Successfully execute campaigns to inform, educate, and inspire employees across all departments.
  • Create engaging messaging and materials for campaigns.
  • Generate content for use on the Applicant Tracking System, Virtual Office (VO), and company website.
  • Develop and implement digital strategies for web-based communications, including websites and social media channels.
  • Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and review draft reports to evaluate campaign milestones.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of relevant communications experience.
  • Proven ability to measure campaign effectiveness and make necessary modifications.
  • Experience producing diverse content across multiple channels and applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing-related field or communications (preferred).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a focus on clarity and conciseness.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
  • Responsive and open to feedback.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
