Specialist Marketing Automation (Demand Generation) - Hybrid

  • Do you understand marketing automation and B2B marketing?
  • Are you familiar with Marketo or similar tools?
  • Are you good at analyzing and segmenting data?

As the Specialist Marketing Automation (Demand Generation), you will be reporting to the Supervisor, Demand Generation, and will support Canon Canada’s Demand Generation strategies and objectives within the marketing automation platforms. This position will act as a lead on managing and optimizing our marketing automation initiatives and personalization goals to support lead/subscriber generation, engagement, and revenue growth, across consumer and business audiences. Additionally, the Specialist, Marketing Automation will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, e-commerce, and product teams to identify acquisition and conversion opportunities through lead and customer lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize email campaigns for both B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Create, manage, and optimize lead/subscriber generation initiatives including landing pages, gated content, and signup forms.
  • Build customer journeys and automated workflows to nurture and convert leads, and drive e-commerce conversions.
  • Create segmented CRM audiences for personalized, high-impact campaigns.
  • Analyze KPIs such as lead/subscriber growth, email engagement, conversion rates, and ROI, while identifying testing and insight-based optimization opportunities

To Succeed, You Will Need

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing of Business Administration
  • Minimum of 1-year related work experience
  • Good understanding of data and customer segmentation
  • Knowledge of Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms such as Hubspot or MailChimp
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Intermediate Excel and Google Analytics skills
  • Good time and process management skills
