Payroll, Time and Benefits Specialist

The Payroll, Time & Benefits (PTB) Team at Roche is dedicated to managing payroll, benefits, absence management, customer service, and advisory support to employees, managers, and business partners. This team ensures the completion of end-to-end processes aligned with customer-focused principles, aiming to make Roche People Practices function effectively for the business.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a PTB Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of HR system data maintenance and administrative tasks across critical areas. You'll also play a key part in enhancing our People & Culture (P&C) People Support Solutions.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Execute HR system data maintenance and administrative tasks accurately and promptly for payroll, tax, social insurance, time management, and various local and global benefits.

• Handle pay-related inquiries and manage employee time/absence entries.

• Ensure regulatory compliance in all relevant HR processes.

• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, providing guidance to first-level P&C support teams.

• Participate in project activities aimed at continuous service improvement.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with P&C colleagues and customers globally to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.

• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of P&C People Support Solutions by analyzing interactions and collaborating with other P&C functions, always focusing on high customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality service delivery.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll services (Croatian and/or Slovenian payroll knowledge is beneficial)

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Strong written and spoken English communication abilities.

• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• A customer-centric approach, end-to-end accountability, strong problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset.
