Role Summary:
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist will manage and optimize our Marketing Cloud platform. This role will be critical in executing our marketing strategies, enhancing customer engagement, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Marketing Cloud functionalities, proven experience in campaign execution and automation, and a passion for leveraging data to improve marketing effectiveness.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize marketing automation processes including workflows and email templates
- Partner with Marketing Strategy leads to design, streamline, and optimize SFMC journeys, including building and filtering audiences
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams for seamless data integration and campaign execution
- Drive integrated experiences across channels with personalization, dynamic content, and behavioral triggers; recommend optimizations for journey logic and personalization
- Create and manage dynamic audience segments using SFMC Audience Builder. Use SQL and data extensions to refine audience criteria, document audience logic and segmentation rules
- Manage technical aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including configuration and troubleshooting
- Test campaign logic, segmentation, content, and design to ensure well managed deployments
- Partner with analytics teams to ensure strategies and campaigns are directly connected to tangible, business outcomes
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to optimize future marketing efforts
- Introduce and lead implementation of SMS touchpoints within campaigns
- Establish proactive data retention practice and ensure ongoing oversight
- Provide training and support to internal users on Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities
About You:
- Strong command of digital marketing tactics, marketing automation principles, data analysis, segmentation, and CRM best practices
- Understanding of data management principles and experience with data extensions, segmentation, and SQL
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and capable of handling multiple projects while meeting deadlines effectively
- Familiarity with email marketing best practices, deliverability and CAN-SPAM regulations
- Ability to stay current with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with digital marketing platforms, including CRM and marketing automation
- Proven ability to design, build, and execute complex marketing automation campaigns using Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator and/or Email Specialist certification preferred; advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing or data analytics are a plus
- Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud; experience with Marketing Cloud Intelligence (formerly Datorama) is a plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud objects such as Contact, Account, Lead, Opportunity, and Campaigns
- Familiarity with AMPscript, SSJS, and REST/SOAP APIs is a plus
- Financial services/credit union experience preferred
- Some travel required for training, job duties, and career development
- Valid Driver’s License required

Tukwila, WA: $38.41 - $57.62
Spokane, WA: $31.75 - $47.62
