Job Role: Admin Assistant

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Australian Time

Salary Budget: $1,200 - 1,300 AUD / Month

Contract: Part Time

Who The Client Is: A boutique financial planning and mortgage broking business offering holistic, end-to-end financial services. We focus on delivering highly personalized support through the smart use of digital tools. Our typical clients are around 50 years old, self-employed or white-collar professionals, and have approximately $500,000 in investments.

With a small but growing remote team, we pride ourselves on a collaborative, efficient work culture and a strong commitment to client service.

Role Overview: We are seeking a part-time Admin Assistant to join our remote team and support our financial planning operations. This role will work under the guidance of an experienced Financial Planning Assistant and provide essential implementation and follow-up support across a range of client service and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the implementation of financial planning strategies
  • Assist with preparation of review reports ahead of client strategy reviews 
  • Follow up with clients and external product and service providers as needed
  • Collect, review and organize financial data from clients
  • Update and maintain client records in CRM system
  • Help publish and manage social media and website blog content and preparation of marketing materials 
  • Perform general administrative support and reporting tasks

Requirements

    • At least 1 year of experience as an Admin Assistant in an Australian financial planning / advisory business +
    • Excellent attention to detail and English communication skills
    • Comfortable working with digital tools, CRM systems and cloud-based systems (Ex. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, etc.)
    • Experience with investment platforms such as AMP/MyNorth, Hub24, Netwealth, Macquarie
    • Experience with insurance platforms such as TAL, NEOS, Zurich/OnePath
    • Strong ability to follow instructions and work independently
    • Eagerness to learn and grow within the role and progress your career within our business
    • Be exceptionally well organised
    • Reliable and professional, with strong time management skills
