Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: 9 AM to 6 PM Monday to Friday Melbourne time
The Role:
We are a leading importer and distributor of a range of niche tech hardware products into A/NZ and the Asia Pac region. We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to manage day-to-day office administration and bookkeeping tasks. Reporting directly to the Directors, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload and can work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • General office administration including filing, ordering supplies, and coordinating correspondence
  • Data entry, document management, and record keeping
  • Accounts payable and receivable 
  • Bank and account reconciliations - company operates across Asia Pac Region and so you'll be dealing in multiple currencies
  • Payroll processing and superannuation
  • BAS preparation and lodgment assistance
  • Inwards and outwards freight management
  • Liaising with suppliers, clients, and external accountants
  • Maintaining a tidy and efficient office environment
  • Provide support as needed to customer service & tech support teams


Requirements
  About You:
  • Proven experience in office administration and bookkeeping (Pronto Xi experience an advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding of Australian accounting and payroll practices
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage but not essential
