Intro

We are hiring a Senior Business Development Manager for the Publishing unit to spearhead third-party game sourcing and strategic partnerships. This person will own the top of the publishing pipeline: identifying, negotiating, and securing high-potential games and studios to join FRVR’s instant games platform. You’ll be joining as the first dedicated BD resource focused on publishing, with a mandate to move fast, close impactful deals, and scale our game portfolio through third-party developers.

You’ll work directly with our VP of Publishing, collaborate with Marketing and the Publishing team, and interface with top global studios.

You’ll bring a deep understanding of games, a strong network in the industry, and a sharp commercial instinct.

 

Challenges & Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and engage 3rd-party game developers with potential for distribution with high impact through FRVR’s platform.
  • Source and evaluate prototypes, MVPs, and existing titles for publishing.
  • Own end-to-end deal processes including structuring, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Drive strategic partnerships with key players like tier 1 studios and publishers
  • Track, prioritize, and report on pipeline opportunities and deal progress.
  • Use market data and FRVR performance metrics to guide sourcing and negotiation strategy always aiming to drive revenue growth
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Publishing, Marketing, etc…) to ensure seamless onboarding and game integrations.
  • Champion fast iteration, low-friction collaboration, and high-impact execution.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our publishing playbook, processes and tools


We are looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Publishing, or Strategic Partnerships within the games industry.
  • Proven success proven success in publishing, co-dev, licensing deals with highly talented studios and tier 1 publishers.
  • Deep network of game developers and publishers (mobile/web/instant/console).
  • Strong understanding of game production, monetization models, and live ops.
  • Ability to assess gameplay quality, product-market fit, and retention potential.
  • Excellent commercial instincts—able to structure smart, scalable deals quickly.
  • Experience negotiating license fees, MGs, and rev-share agreements.
  • Comfortable working in a high-speed, data-driven environment with limited structure.
  • Familiarity with instant games, HTML5, or low-friction game delivery is a strong plus.
  • High resilience, bias for action, and self-driven to build something from scratch.
