Job Summary
A Compensation Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and recommending changes to employee compensation packages to ensure they are competitive and compliant with regulations. They analyze internal and external data, develop and maintain compensation structures, and provide guidance to managers on compensation-related matters. They also assist in the development of compensation policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. This is a remote/telecommute position and the individual can work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to determine competitive salaries and benefits for similar roles.
• Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from compensation surveys, market trends, and internal data.
• Compensation Structure: Develop and maintain salary structures and ranges, ensuring they are aligned with market data and internal equity.
• Job Evaluation: Assess and categorize job positions, determine their classification (exempt or non-exempt), and appropriate salary ranges.
• Compliance: Ensure compensation practices comply with federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present compensation reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaboration: Work with HR, finance, and management teams to implement and administer compensation programs.
• Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of compensation policies and guidelines.
• Benefits Research: Research and recommend employee benefits, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
• Budgeting: Assist in budgeting for compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals.

“The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85 - 95K base + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Candidates who exceed the specified experience and relevant education or training may be considered for compensation above the stated range. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect base salary, and certain positions may be offered additional variable incentives.”
