Job description

Our client is seeking a Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer who will be instrumental in shaping and implementing the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy. This role is essential for fostering an inclusive workplace culture that not only attracts a diverse talent pool but also promotes equity in every aspect of the organization's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee diversity and inclusion strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to senior leadership on DEI initiatives and best practices.
  • Conduct assessments and identify opportunities to enhance diversity across the workforce.
  • Develop training programs that raise awareness and promote understanding of DEI issues.
  • Analyze and report on diversity metrics to track progress and inform organizational decision-making.
  • Foster relationships with external organizations and communities to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Lead the establishment of a DEI council to promote initiatives across all business units.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in diversity and inclusion leadership roles, with a proven track record of implementing successful DEI strategies.
  • Deep understanding of global DEI challenges and opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, social sciences, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications in DEI or related fields are highly desirable.
