Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Key Account Manager with at least 8 years of hands[1] on experience in SEO, digital marketing, or analytics. This expert-level position requires strategic thinking, strong client-facing capabilities, and technical expertise in leading complex SEO and digital transformation projects. Experience in the financial sector, preferably with banks, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Strategic Planning

  • Serve as the primary contact and key account manager for large-scale clients.
  • Develop and manage customized SEO strategies and digital marketing concepts tailored to enterprise-level needs.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, ensuring alignment of SEO and digital marketing initiatives with clients business goals.

SEO Implementation & Innovation

  • Lead the execution of complex, content-driven SEO initiatives.
  • Plan, manage, and implement innovative SEO strategies, integrating AI-supported technologies and methodologies.
  • Design and execute strategies to enhance visibility and ranking on AI-powered search platforms (e.g., SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini-integrated platforms).

Data Analysis & Web Audits

  • Lead complex web analysis projects, including technical audits, data interpretation, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations through comprehensive, data-driven reports.

Stakeholder Communication & Presentation

  • Confidently present strategies, progress updates, and campaign results to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely project delivery.

Requirements

Experience

  • A minimum of 8 years in SEO, digital marketing, or analytics, with a proven track record of managing large and complex projects.
  • Fluent in German (written and spoken) this is a mandatory requirement.

Expertise

Proven expertise in:

  • SEO strategy and implementation (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO)
  • AI-integrated SEO tools and practices
  • Data analytics, web audits, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio,Matomo)
  • Client communication, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
  • Projects within the financial sector

Leadership & Coordination

  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent coordination and organizational capabilities
  • A client-focused, solutions-oriented mindset
