Executive Recruitment Director (REMOTE)

Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, this position leads global Executive recruiting for Veeam and is a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team. Given Veeam’s aspiration to scale to a $5B company over the next five years, a proven track record of success in building and leading an executive recruitment area is crucial. 

Veeam’s Executive Recruiting team is responsible for attracting and hiring senior leaders across all areas and disciplines of Veeam. We work closely with executives and organization leaders to ensure that we’re hiring talent to help drive Veeam’s business objectives and products. 

To further this important mission, we are looking for a Recruiting Leader to build out our Executive Recruitment function. This person must be a builder who seeks feedback and thrives in a learning environment—unafraid to try new things, embrace new ideas, and welcome suggestions for how we can iterate our processes. This person also understands the criticality of this population at Veeam and is willing to solve problems while building a best-in-class executive TA function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle executive recruitment partnering with Veeam’s Executive team.
• Actively recruit for open executive roles and deliver quality best in class hires to Veeam.
• Set the pace and energy to execute an ambitious executive hiring strategy – you’ll introduce new processes, implement efficient hiring practices, lean into data analytics, track effective metrics and drive hiring goals that set the standard for a high talent bar 
• You will be responsible for tracking metrics and implementing new ways of measuring effectiveness to ensure the strategy set is measurable and exceeds standards
• Provide timely reporting of key metrics and insights to drive decisions and improve processes
• Partner closely with recruiting analytics and operations to ensure accurate reporting in hiring progress and lean on data to advise leadership on trustworthy forecasting 
• Serve as a talent advisor to the Executive and Talent team and have an anticipatory lens for upcoming recruiting initiatives that match the ambition of an expanding organization
• Maintain strategic relationships with external search partners and related vendors, ensuring there is an effective partnership resulting in the acquisition of exceptional executive talent
• Build and drive cross-functional partnerships with compensation, HR, finance and others to scale hiring across our global offices.
• Partner with other TA leaders in each business vertically to have a holistic view on hiring needs, growth trends and be deeply engaged a member of the Global Recruiting Leadership team
• Assist broader TA and model best practices throughout all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle, from pitching Veeam to partnering with cross-functional partners and negotiating offers
• Elevate Veeam’s diverse Communities through equitable hiring practices and inclusive, thoughtful outreach efforts with this senior talent pool. Lead programs in building creative and collaborative ways of embedding connection and belonging in Veeam’s hiring.
• Bring up-to-date market data and global insights into building efficient, best in class executive hiring and onboarding programs. Consistently looking to learn, elevate and innovate to deliver a best-in-class experience for our existing and potential executives.
• Up to 15% travel as needed + in office meet and greet with executive candidates is expected

Basic Requirements

• 10+ years of recruiting management experience (in-house executive experience preferred)
• Experience sourcing and closing executive profiles 
• A trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior leadership to help thoughtfully organize, design and execute a hiring strategy or new talent initiative for the executive recruiting org
• Passion for developing recruiting professionals in partnership with our global head of TA, and providing coaching at the organizational level to the wider TA team; you obsess over the talent of the team and the larger organization
• A leader with strong ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels; exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills 
• Ability to operate well in a fast-moving environment and provide team clarity to ambiguous situations
• Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent
• Collaborative teamwork, collaboration, and multi-tasking skills

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
