We’re hiring a hands-on, systems-savvy Senior Accounting Manager to assume full ownership of our accounting function. You’ll lead the transition from outsourced to in-house, build and scale workflows, prepare for audit, and ensure our financials are investor-ready. You’ll partner closely with the CFO/COO to lay the foundation for a high-performing finance function.
What You’ll Own
Own the accounting function: GL, close, AR/AP, payroll, reconciliations
Lead the transition from outsourced to in-house accounting function
Implement and enforce GAAP-compliant policies (including ASC 606 rev rec)
Prepare for and support annual financial audit (first-year audit in FY25)
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CS, RevOps, IT, and People
Lead month-end and year-end close and reporting processes
Implement key modern accounting tools
Maintain internal controls, approval workflows, and audit trails
Manage departmental and account-level reporting structure
Full ownership of payroll administration in partnership with People
Customer invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable
Vendor onboarding, AP processing, and expense reimbursements
What We're Looking For
3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience (public + startup preferred)
Hands-on experience with deferred revenue and SaaS revenue models
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 principles
Comfort with ambiguity and building from scratch
Familiarity with modern SaaS tech stack
Ownership mindset with high standards for accuracy and follow-through
Strong communication skills across functions and externally
