Job Responsibilities
Improve the lives of our clients by providing financial data that helps them grow, succeed and achieve.
Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
Address tight deadlines with a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, cash flow management, AP, AR, payroll and reconciliations.
Participate and lead accounting software implementations or integrations.
Routinely communicate with senior-level executives and decision makers within each organization relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.
Train and supervise staff accountants on day-to-day functions.
Assist in preparation of audits and tax returns (as required).
Lead the day to day accounting operations of various clients and coordinate staff and AP resources
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in core accounting functions, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll (PR), and period-end close processes
Demonstrated success working with nonprofit clients, with a solid understanding of their specific operational and financial needs
Proficiency in navigating grant-related processes, including compliance, tracking, and reporting
Experience using multiple accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $76,800 - $96,600. For Illinois residents, the compensation range for this position: $78,100 - $106,300. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $78,100 - $106,300. For Washington residents, the compensation range for this position: $78,100 - $106,300. For Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $78,100 - $106,300. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $80,200 - $111,100. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
