Role description: Strategic market developer who identifies new business opportunities and builds relationships to grow Aggreko's presence in untapped markets and customer segments.

Detailed description:

Drive future revenue growth by finding new market opportunities (70%) and managing select high-value deals (30%).

Build relationships with key decision-makers, develop market entry strategies, and create qualified opportunities for the sales team.

Handle complex proposals while establishing Aggreko's credibility in new sectors.

Responsibilities

· Identify and research new market opportunities and customer segments

· Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

· Create market entry strategies for new sectors or territories

· Develop and present compelling business cases and proposals

· Qualify opportunities and hand off to appropriate sales teams

· Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and market intelligence

Responsibilities - Account-Centric

· Build deep relationships with C-level executives in target accounts

· Become trusted advisor understanding client business challenges

· Identify multiple opportunities within strategic accounts

· Grow share of business within existing key accounts

· Navigate complex stakeholder organizations

Responsibilities - Product-Centric

· Develop expertise in specific technical solutions and applications

· Find new uses and markets for existing Aggreko products

· Work with engineering teams to adapt solutions for new markets

· Translate technical benefits into clear business value

· Pioneer innovative applications of Aggreko's technology

Key performance indicators

· New market revenue targets and qualified pipeline creation

· Relationship building success with target stakeholders

· Proposal win rates and deal margins on strategic opportunities

· Market penetration and competitive wins

Location: Home based - Hungary

Travel: Up to 70% across Hungary and neighboring countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic)

What we're looking for:

· Proven track record in business development or strategic sales with consistent target achievement (5+ years) idealy within th : Utilities, Oil and Gaz, Petrochemical, Refinery and HVAC customers.

· Success in opening new markets or building new business relationships

· Experience with complex B2B sales cycles and proposal development

· Strong business acumen and ability to develop compelling business cases

What we’re looking for - Account-centric [

· Experience building relationships with senior executives and C-level stakeholders

· Success growing business and share of wallet within existing strategic accounts

· Background in account management, consulting, or client-focused solution development

· History of navigating complex stakeholder organizations

What we’re looking for - Product-centric

· Technical background or strong technical aptitude with solution expertise within the temporary power generation, energy services, or HVAC sector

· Experience in product development, technical sales, or application engineering

· Background in technical industries with engineering collaboration experience

· Success in finding new applications or markets for existing products
