Hannah Senesh Community Day School (The Senesh School) , a progressive, independent K-8 Jewish school in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time, Remote Marketing & Communications Associate to support our communications efforts. The start date is August 1, 2025. This role requires 10–12 hours of work per week. The salary for this part-time position is $15,000, commensurate with experience. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a thought partner to the Director of Marketing and Communications by sharing observations, generating ideas, and helping systems run smoothly
Draft and send select school communications, including School News, event invitations, and reminders using Constant Contact
Help ensure email lists are accurate and up to date
Submit school events to community calendars and local listings
Help promote school events by preparing and sharing basic information in various channels
Make basic updates to the school website (e.g., adding events, updating content, posting job listings)
Post job openings to relevant hiring websites and platforms
Provide general communications and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
Strong writing and proofreading skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Comfortable using email platforms (e.g., Constant Contact), online forms, and basic social media tools
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly
Familiarity with Google Workspace and Canva a plus
