Job description

Scope

The Manager of Investor Relations at RE/MAX plays a critical role in managing relationships with debt and equity investors and analysts, ensuring transparent, consistent, and effective communication of the company’s financial performance and strategic direction. This role supports quarterly earnings processes, investor communications, and collaborates with executive leadership and the broader Finance organization on supporting various strategic initiatives.  This role will also contribute to competitive intelligence and compliance efforts. The position reports to the SVP of Finance and collaborates closely with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Quarterly Earnings
  • Lead the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including timeline development, stakeholder coordination, and vendor management.
    • Prepare key materials such as earnings releases, call scripts, presentations, and internal communications in collaboration with the SVP of Finance.
  • Aggregate and summarize key feedback from investors, including questions, themes, and changes in estimates.
Investor Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with CFO, SVP of Finance, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Communications to continuously refine investment thesis in response to ongoing evolution of Company strategy
  • Develop and execute communication strategies for investors, analysts, ratings agencies and stakeholders in collaboration with Communications and Public Relations, when applicable and appropriate.
    • Coordinate and participate in investor meetings, conferences, and calls with senior leadership.
    • Respond to investor inquiries with timely, accurate, and strategic information.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and analysts.
    • Gather and analyze investor feedback and market sentiment to help inform leadership decisions.
    • Track and report on key investor relations metrics and KPIs
  • Monitor and analyze competitor performance, industry trends, and market sentiment to inform strategic decisions and investor messaging
  • Manage ESG efforts and reporting
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with the CFO, SVP of Finance, and other ELT members to align investor messaging with business strategy
    • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations teams to drive cohesive messaging while ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and disclosure requirements
    • Support strategic initiatives with financial and market analysis aligned with investor expectations
Vendor & Platform Management
  • Manage relationships with external vendors supporting IR platforms, stock surveillance, CRM systems, and financial modeling tools.
    • Oversee updates and maintenance of the Investor Relations website.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ad Hoc Support: Willingness to be a team player and role up their sleeves on a variety of tasks and projects, which may include but is not limited to:
  • Financial modeling in support of organic and inorganic growth opportunities
  • Development of Board materials and other leadership presentations
  • Housing market and competitor research
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
    • MBA or CFA designation preferred.
Experience
  • 4+ years in investor relations, corporate finance, equity research, or asset management, preferably within a public company or financial institution.
Skills & Competencies
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and capital markets.
    • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives.
    • Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build trust and credibility with investors, analysts, and senior executives.
    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and investor relations platforms (e.g., Q4, Nasdaq IR Insight).
    • Financial Modeling: Familiarity with valuation techniques and models used by analysts and investors.
    • Market Insight: Strong understanding of financial markets, investor behavior, and industry trends.
    • Confidentiality & Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, and demonstrates strong ethical behavior and integrity.
Hire Range/Rate: 

$114,800 - $124,650

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location.  The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package.  Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
