Role

The Investment team at Kinetic Investments is looking for a highly motivated and adaptable Senior Associate to join us as we scale into our first fund (Fund I). This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role with a strong focus on investor relations, fundraising support, and external representation, while also contributing across dealflow, portfolio, and fund operations.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, brings both strategic thinking and relationship instinct, and is excited to be part of a lean, ambitious team. You’ll be a key player in how we show up to the world - and how we build what's next.

Key accountabilities

Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective LPs
Lead or support fundraising activities, including LP communications, pipeline management, and presentation materials
Represent the fund at events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings
Contribute to deal sourcing and manage the early-stage startup pipeline
Support investment due diligence and ongoing portfolio monitoring
Assist with fund operations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

Essential:

3+ years of experience in VC, private equity, investor relations, fundraising, or high-growth startups
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
Confident working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment with shifting priorities

Desirable:

Prior LP-facing experience, particularly with family offices or institutional investors
Exposure to the full fund lifecycle — fundraising, investments, and portfolio management
Experience in lean teams or startup settings with a hands-on, adaptable mindset
