  • Permanent Full-Time Position in a Leading Healthcare Organisation
  • Hybrid working arrangement – Majority onsite and some work from home office
  • Based in Brisbane QLD, and requires travel to Gold Coast and Sydney (at least monthly)

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager an opportunity like no other exists. The National Retirement Village Manager will champion excellence across our Retirement Villages in Queensland and New South Wales. You will empower, mentor and recruit a team of dedicated Retirement Village Managers, driving operational success while creating vibrant communities where residents thrive.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our retirement villages, enhancing customer satisfaction, ensuring financial stability, and expanding our service offerings to meet the evolving needs of our residents.

A Permanent Full-Time position based from our Group Head Office in Brisbane and at our 5 Retirement Villages in Brisbane, 2 on the Gold Coast, and 2 in Sydney.  

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and manage the annual RV budget (approx. $9 million), ensuring financial sustainability and effective resource allocation.
  • Recruit, supervise, mentor, and lead Retirement Village Managers across QLD and NSW to achieve operational KPIs.
  • Ensure all residents are welcomed, valued and safe, have a positive experience and a high level of satisfaction.
  • Create, monitor, revise, and update RV policies, procedures, and documentation to align with St Vincent’s Care values and legislative requirements.
  • Monitor data, evaluate service quality, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident services.
  • Lead and manage Annual General Meetings for all sites.
  • In conjunction with the National Sales Manager develop a service offering that residents will benefit from.
  • Proactively drive and look for efficiencies a villages.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community, and address concerns in a compassionate and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Retirement Village Legislation, accreditation standards, and Work Health & Safety legislation, and contribute to effective risk management.

  • A commitment to providing high-quality care, promoting resident independence and well-being, and ensuring resident satisfaction. 
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and inclusive working style.
  • Qualifications in leadership, management, business or health management, and a valid National Criminal History Record Check.
