Job description

Pay Range: $19.30 - $25.72

Directly supports the Financial Planning Department in all aspects of the financial planning process. Works directly with external and internal clients, Financial Consultants, Wealth Management Advisors and other members of the Wealth Management Division. Responsible for but not limited to: Data Aggregation, analysis and preparation of client information for Financial Planners and preparation of client facing materials.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance or economics or equivalent education and experience
  • 1+ year of work experience in a related field

Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • The ability to quickly learn and become proficient with eMoney/WealthVision, Basecamp and LPL's resources.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient with technologies that support remote work environments including, but not limited to webinars, video conferencing and digitization of documents.

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:

Those hired for this position may be asked to obtain a Series 65 or 66 license, Life Accident and Health license or other professional designations as needed.

Tasks Performed:

  • 65% Support Senior Financial Planner and Financial Planners in the creation, presentation and implementation of comprehensive financial plans.
  • 15% Manage the Financial Planning process. Interact with internal/external clients to keep the process moving efficiently. Track process in management software.
  • 10% Provide post-plan client service on an ongoing basis. Follow up with advisors to ensure plan implementation in a timely manner.
  • 5% Complete short term and long term projects, as needed to improve the operating efficiency of the Financial Planning Department.
  • 5% Other duties as required

  • Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
  • Stationary 75% of time or greater
  • Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
