We create and execute strategy, produce engaging content, improve the use of social media and can help you deliver against your wider business objectives. What You’ll Do:
The IMG Digital team are looking for a Senior Account Manager to react to the needs of the business and its clients, especially the National Hockey League (NHL). The position will be wide-ranging and will include supporting on client relationships, supporting international content creation efforts across multiple markets and timezones, as well as supporting on overriding strategic direction for the project.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate.
- May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- A creative powerhouse. Delivering creative content solutions daily throughout the year, especially for major events such as NHL Global Series and the Stanley Cup Final
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across the NHL, and throughout your career at IMG, the sports industry
- Continuing to develop a successful, progressive, and pioneering connection with IMG staff, the NHL, and our wider creative community to deliver strong results season on season
- Creation of digital content strategies based on solid understanding of production capabilities and platform knowledge
- Analysing and interpreting research and stats to detect trends and create strategic and operational recommendations
- Presenting ideas, campaigns and strategies to clients of all levels of digital maturity
- Writing client facing reports and presenting key findings to senior management
- Resource planning, project management and milestone tracking
- Identification of revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention opportunities for IMG clients and delivery of relevant recommendations
- Understanding the latest digital trends, and reporting this back to the wider team and clients
- Working with all other personnel to develop and achieve the company’s overall strategic goals
- Being an ambassador for IMG, maintaining a professional approach at all times.
- Determining and clarifying a range of strategic and operational problems via consultation (e.g. running interviews, leading workshops)
- Other duties that are within the scope of the role may be required.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
- Extensive and broad digital experience
- Extensive knowledge of hockey, particularly the NHL
- Professional hands-on experience in the two of the following areas:
- Digital content production
- Content, social media and platform strategy (design and/or implementation).
- Management of clients with successful results (not limited to hockey)
- Experience of running social media channels (especially Instagram and TikTok)
- A solutions first mindset, able to tackle problems quickly with excellent planning and communication
- Performance and analytics understanding and monitoring
- Content, marketing and social media (major platforms, across the full creative suite).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including strong presentation skills
- Highly numerate with experience of using spreadsheets to understand and manipulate data
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, creating PowerPoint presentations and statistical manipulation in Excel
- Organised, calm under pressure and an ability to meet fixed deadlines (both internal and client)
- Proactive and able to react to the clients’ needs across European, Australian, and US timezones
- A commitment to continual professional development of oneself and others
- Significant digital experience with keen insight into best practice for businesses and brands.
- Comfortable under pressure (presenting, running workshops, giving clients feedback etc.)
Additional Strengths That Are a Plus:
- Understanding of marketing: research, campaign planning, audience segmentation, profiling and content targeting
- Experience leading parts, or all, of an organisation’s digital operations
- Digital strategy experience (setting and delivery)
- Experience using analytics and social publishing platforms (e.g. Meta Business Studio, TikTok, Sprinklr)
- Knowledge of Photoshop
- A global perspective on content trends and audience behaviours
- Technically savvy and passionate about the latest digital trends and developments
- A passion for sport (especially hockey) and its ability to positively impact society
