Role reports to: EMEA Division Director

Location: European headquarters, which is currently in Arnhem but will move to Utrecht this year.

Purpose

Medline’s Rehab & Fall Prevention, Diagnostics, Repositioning & Off-loading, and DME product categories serve critical needs across hospital wards, operating theatres, and out-of-hospital care settings throughout Europe. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to take full ownership of these product portfolios and manage them with an entrepreneurial mindset.

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing strategies to grow and optimize your division in line with marketing, financial, and corporate objectives. You will play a key role in driving profitability, launching new solutions, and supporting the continued expansion of your product portfolio across Europe. This role also involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.

How can you help us?

  • Manage product categories across multiple divisions to optimize profitability and achieve marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.
  • Conduct market assessments and develop launch plans for new products to drive sales and maximize profits.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing department to negotiate with existing suppliers, aiming to improve cost structures and increase capacity to support division expansion.
  • Work continuously on portfolio rationalization to streamline our offer and increase supply efficiency.
  • Work as a transversal team leader during the product development phase, with respect to product launch and/or change procedures.
  • Benchmark competitor's product portfolios, pricing, and market share, and support the sales team in developing compelling customer offers.
  • Develop training programs and marketing collaterals to equip the sales team with effective tools and knowledge.
  • Partner with account managers to gain insights into customer needs and understand the competitive landscape.

Are you a match?

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing, healthcare or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales and/or product management, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Experience negotiating with external vendors and internal resources
  • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data effectively
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • High personal accountability and a strong drive to succeed
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Medline locations across Europe
