We are seeking a driven Wind Energy Account Manager to join our team, focused on building and maintaining relationships with Independent Power Providers (IPPs). This role involves outside sales activities, including regular travel and customer meetings to support and expand our presence in the wind energy sector.

Essential Functions
  • Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
  • Proactively identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers at IPPs
  • Regularly visit clients, perform on-site assessments, and promote our solutions
  • Ability to manage territory, projected sales and build/maintain business relationships
  • Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
  • Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory

  • Experience, Education and Skills
  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • 4-year degree in sales, marketing or engineering OR 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics or related field is preferred
  • 2+ years industrial sales experience with preference given to sales experience within the renewable energy market and customers
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience of wind turbine components, repair, and maintenance is a plus.
  • Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Overnight travel may be required 
  • At times may be required to lift items weighing as much as 50lbs.
