DUTIES:

         

  • Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.
  • Responsible to the frontend application (ICR) for the Quality Pay for Performance (QP4P) application.
  • Ensure the application can meet all of the current and future performance and business requirements.
  • Meet with business partners to understand business needs.
  • Participate in bi-weekly meetings with the business partners to help gather and refine their requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning and prioritization meetings with the Product Owner and business partners.
  • Responsible for overall design of the solution.
  • Use the business requirements to create the technical design any enhancements needed for ICR.
  • Review the design with the business and downstream team to ensure the solution will work properly.
  • Design, build and test applications and work the full life cycle of development projects starting with requirements and through production migrations.
  • Help with business requirements, design, building the code, unit testing, assisting with business UAT and then migrating to production.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality – ICR is used to support contract management for QP4P.
  • Responsible to ensure the application is running correctly and with expected performance.
  • Perform all issue resolutions and root cause analysis.
  • Support the process of moving VBC datasets from Foundry (AWS to SQL Server).
  • Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, its foreign equivalent, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 5 of relevant work experience.
  • In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Developing and maintaining User Interfaces for Value Based Contracting applications using MVC 4.0, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Web Form Controls to create responsive web pages, developed Master Pages. (2) Developing forms, reports, interfaces, and business logic validation in .NET as per the functional and technical specifications. (3) Implementing client-side validations using jQuery and JavaScript. (4) Writing complex SQL Statements and Stored Procedures to validate data and ensure system integrity and security. (5) Using jQuery JSON for dynamic User Interface, retrieval and posting of data. (6) Implementing .Net Security features of Authentication and Authorization using .Net Membership.

JOB SITE:                7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105

WORK HOURS:         Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]

PAY RANGE:             $133,973.00 to $158,100.00 per year
