Job description

Role: Intern - HR Team
Period: 2-Month
Location: Remote or Dehradun
Stipend: 5-8k/month
Experience: 0 [Only for those who are freshers or bring less than 1-year experience]

Ground Zero is a non-profit based out of Dehradun, enabling nonprofits to find the right talent, build better experience, and nurture talent to better prepare for the social sector!

Role Brief
The intern will work with the Talent Acquisition team, extending support in sourcing, screening, and facilitating/strengthening the candidate experience. This role is a very uniquely positioned role at Ground Zero!
 

Responsibilities

Sourcing Candidates

  • Exploring and managing the job boards to source candidates
  • Building strategies, implementing them to find more aligned candidates and building a talent pipeline

Screening Candidates

  • Understanding needs, screening right candidates
  • Conduct the scoping calls
  • Schedule the interviews with hiring manager
  • Coordinate and ensure a smooth communication with candidate

Facilitating the hiring process

  • Ensuring the smooth coordination, scheduling interviews with partner nonprofits
  • Managing and ensuring the updates are synced with the recruitment portal
  • Coordinate for assignment, background check etc

Data Analysis

  • Understanding trends, taking right measures
  • Detailing out the process, weekly updates for partners and sharing weekly/monthly updates/reports to partners on hiring supports

Skills And Qualifications

  • We don't require you to hold an HR degree or a premier degree; we seek someone who can take ownership of the work and is a problem solver, skilled in negotiation, and has an understanding of the development sector.
  • Very good communication skills
  • Self-starter, proactive in finding solutions, and result-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and collaboration skills.
  • Effective time management skills with a proven track record of executing projects in a timely manner and achieving results on schedule.
  • Effective at developing ideas and strategies during strategic planning meetings.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and influence others without authority.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technology skills are mandatory as we are a tech-first organization, with familiarity in using computer and web-based applications (g-suite, excel)
