As a member of the People Technology Team, the Workday HR Systems Specialist (Time & Attendance), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our HR and technology systems, supporting our time and attendance and scheduling initiatives, specifically in the area of enabling our front-line workforce. This role requires experience with Workday Workforce Management modules - Time Tracking, Absence and Scheduling, analytical skills, and a customer-focused approach to delivering technology solutions that align with business needs.
Optimize Workday HCM capabilities, focusing on Time Tracking & Absence, and Scheduling through process improvement, configuration, testing, training, and troubleshooting.
Support the configuration and maintenance of Workday modules related to workforce management - Time Tracking, Absence, and Leave functions.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Collaborate with management and HR stakeholders to analyze business requirements and design effective Workday solutions with the front-line worker as a focus.
Perform system testing, release management, and process enhancements to improve system efficiency and user experience for supported modules.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide user training and ongoing support to HR and business partners to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.
Ensure data integrity, compliance with HR policies, and adherence to system governance standards.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to enhance HR system capabilities.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
Expertise in Workday modules related to Time and Attendance, Leave, and Scheduling with hands-on experience in configuration and process optimization.
Strong analytical skills to identify root causes, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
Ability to work with limited supervision; independently and collaboratively to resolve a wide range of system and process challenges.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of HR processes, including time tracking, leave and workforce scheduling, and other key HR functions.
Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
HCM and Recruiting experience is a plus, but a desire to learn these modules is a requirement
Experience within a high-volume industry such as retail, manufacturing, call center is a plus.
