The Crown Is Yours

As a member of the People Technology Team, the Workday HR Systems Specialist (Time & Attendance), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our HR and technology systems, supporting our time and attendance and scheduling initiatives, specifically in the area of enabling our front-line workforce.  This role requires experience with Workday Workforce Management modules - Time Tracking, Absence and Scheduling, analytical skills, and a customer-focused approach to delivering technology solutions that align with business needs.

What you’ll do as a Workday HR Systems Specialist
  • Optimize Workday HCM capabilities, focusing on Time Tracking & Absence, and Scheduling through process improvement, configuration, testing, training, and troubleshooting.

  • Support the configuration and maintenance of Workday modules related to workforce management - Time Tracking, Absence, and Leave functions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

  • Collaborate with management and HR stakeholders to analyze business requirements and design effective Workday solutions with the front-line worker as a focus.

  • Perform system testing, release management, and process enhancements to improve system efficiency and user experience for supported modules.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Provide user training and ongoing support to HR and business partners to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.

  • Ensure data integrity, compliance with HR policies, and adherence to system governance standards.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to enhance HR system capabilities.

What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

  • Expertise in Workday modules related to Time and Attendance, Leave, and Scheduling with hands-on experience in configuration and process optimization.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision; independently and collaboratively to resolve a wide range of system and process challenges.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of HR processes, including time tracking, leave and workforce scheduling, and other key HR functions.

  • Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

  • HCM and Recruiting experience is a plus, but a desire to learn these modules is a requirement

  • Experience within a high-volume industry such as retail, manufacturing, call center is a plus.
