About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Independent Retailer Account Manager to own and grow our independent retail presence, with a strong emphasis on managing all Faire.com operations across our brand portfolio. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the indie retail landscape, and can build long-term relationships that go beyond the platform.

You’ll be responsible for managing our Faire storefronts from end to end, optimizing listings, increasing visibility, ensuring smooth operations, and driving sales. Additionally, you’ll proactively cultivate and manage relationships off-Faire—turning one-off orders into long-term wholesale partnerships and contracts with boutiques, specialty retailers, and gift shops across North America.

 

Key Responsibilitie:

FAIRE Management (House of Party, Roofus, Luna Naturals, Fomin)

  • Own all backend operations on Faire.com including product setup, pricing, promotions, and order fulfillment tracking
  • Optimize product listings, imagery, and merchandising strategy to improve discoverability and conversion
  • Monitor and respond to retailer inquiries and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Execute platform campaigns, analyze sales data, and adapt strategy to meet monthly targets
  • Troubleshoot any platform or customer issues with Faire support
  • Keep inventory and product data synced and accurate across all Faire storefronts


Wholesale Relationship Building

  • Identify and engage with top-performing Faire retailers for potential long-term partnerships
  • Build direct relationships with boutique owners and buyers via email, calls, and outreach
  • Develop and pitch exclusive bundles or collections tailored to individual retailer needs
  • Work closely with the Brand and Sales teams to execute wholesale onboarding and custom programs
  • Negotiate and manage B2B contracts for off-Faire partnerships
  • Maintain a CRM or similar tool to track partner status, conversations, and opportunities


What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or marketplace operations (experience with Faire or similar platforms strongly preferred)
  • Deep understanding of the independent retail landscape, especially in gift, pet, wellness, and lifestyle categories
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Organized and self-driven, with the ability to juggle multiple brand priorities
  • Experience using Shopify, Faire, HubSpot (or similar tools) is a plus
  • A genuine passion for building brands and relationships
