The Role
We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and creatively relentless Senior Product Marketing Manager with free-to-play mobile gaming experience to supercharge engagement and monetization across the Mode Mobile ecosystem. Your core mission will be to apply the science of persuasion, behavioral psychology, and lifecycle management to convert users into loyal, revenue-driving champions. You will shape product narratives, craft compelling experiences, and develop campaigns that inspire action and create habit loops.
Who You Are and What You’ll Do:
- Plan, lead, and execute cross-company marketing and growth strategies to increase monthly active users, engaged usage, and love for the Mode family of apps.
- Take end-to-end ownership of both strategy and execution in areas that present challenges but have great potential for incremental growth and revenue.
- Create dynamic in-product campaigns that surprise, delight, and engage users.
- Establish a unified messaging strategy that supports the core user journey, identifying opportunities to thoughtfully engage our users, minimize distractions, and deflect churn to drive business and user KPIs
- Apply deep understanding of consumer psychology and storytelling to influence user behavior and trigger conversion events.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to develop marketing plans, messaging, and creative assets to support product updates and launches.
- Coordinate with design to create compelling visual content and establish a consistent, persuasive tone of voice in communications.
- Optimize communication touchpoints on an ongoing basis with a focus on testing.
- Report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts and help build the business dashboard with key indicators.
- Understand consumer needs and pain points to develop compelling value propositions and messaging.
- Serve as the key point person to manage messaging communication around in-market products.
- Identify various customer segments and product solutions to tailor marketing strategies.
- Understand the value proposition for each part of the platform and translate it into compelling messages for customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of product marketing experience, including at least 4 years in free-to-play mobile gaming or consumer apps with gamified experiences.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive growth and revenue.
- Experience across all key communication channels, including e-mail, push and SMS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong grasp of behavioral triggers, reward systems, and user segmentation to influence retention and monetization.
- Experience using user lifecycle marketing to improve DAU/MAU ratios, aRPU, and churn reduction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design and sales.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with CleverTap engagement platform strongly preferred.
- Passion for technology and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and trends.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment with a willingness to adapt and embrace change.
