As a Product Marketing Manager at Portnox, you will be the driving force behind positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for our cybersecurity solutions. You'll bridge the gap between product management, sales, and marketing to ensure our solutions resonate with customers and differentiate us in a competitive market. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of cybersecurity and enterprise networking, along with exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
Positioning & Messaging: Develop and refine compelling product positioning and messaging that highlights the unique value of Portnox's solutions.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Own the execution of our go-to-market strategy for new product launches, ensuring seamless collaboration across product, sales, and beyond.
Content Creation: Produce high-impact content, including videos, product briefs, whitepapers, case studies, and webinar presentations, to support sales enablement and demand generation.
Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to inform product strategy and positioning.
Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with tools, training, and collateral that articulate the value of our solutions and address customer pain points effectively.
Customer Advocacy: Work closely with customers to capture testimonials, case studies, and insights that inform product development and marketing efforts.
Product Evangelism: Serve as a spokesperson for Portnox at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings, building credibility as a thought leader in cybersecurity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management to align product roadmap with market needs and contribute to pricing strategies.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in product marketing or a related role; previous focus on cybersecurity a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Exposure to enterprise networking, network security, or application security. Previous experience in these fields is highly desirable.
Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Strategic Thinking: Track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for B2B technology products.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
Customer Focus: Strong ability to connect with customers and understand their challenges and use cases.
Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in cybersecurity or marketing are a plus.
