Job description

Workday HR Systems Analyst — Remote

Deliver impactful HR technology solutions in a remote Agile environment using Workday Learning, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Help. This 12-month contract offers the chance to work with global stakeholders, configure enterprise-level systems, and help shape exceptional employee experiences.

• Incorporated Business Rate: $60-68 per hour.
• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Work schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Eastern Time.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy sustainable Workday solutions, focusing on Learning, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Help modules.
• Define and refine technical requirements aligned with business value.
• Propose system enhancements to automate HR processes and elevate user experience.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for configurations, workflows, and procedures.
• Manage ticketing through JIRA, ensuring accuracy and resolution tracking.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to an open, collaborative, and experimentation-friendly team environment.

What you will need to succeed:

• 3 to 4+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience (not just support), with a focus on Workday Core HCM processes and functionalities (e.g., job changes, staffing, compensation).
• Applied configuration experience with Workday Help and Workday Core HCM.
• Familiarity with Workday Everywhere.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data integrity and quality.
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on employee experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile teams using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Prior exposure to HR processes and services; experience in the financial/insurance industry is an asset.
• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive data.
